Bedtime Yoga (15 min)

Prepare for bed and sleep well

Join Jessica in a yoga sequence that helps your prepare for bed and sleep well. You'll practice breathing deeply, moving gently, and preparing the body and mind for the nourishment of a good night's sleep. This practice will leave you feeling calm, quiet, spacious, and ready for a good night's sleep.

This is an All Levels class.

Suggested props:

  • 1 Bolster or firm yet supportive pillow like a couch cushion
  • 2 Blankets, 80" x 60", for extra padding (or you can use a thick bath towels
  • 2 Yoga blocks, 4" x 6" x 9" (or something of around the house of equal size like a shoe box - that's not empty so it won't crush)
  • 1 Yoga strap or belt from your closet

Use props whenever and wherever you want additional support. Find what feels supportive for you.

Jessica Young started practicing yoga in college to help her deal with the stresses of student life and to cope with debilitating depression. Since 2006, she’s developed a practice that has sustained her on life’s journey. In 2010, she began studying at Tejas Yoga, where she completed her 200-hour teacher training. Jessica is devoted to crafting yoga experiences that create a safe, balanced and engaging experience for every level of practitioner. She has found yoga to be a tool for connection, integration and a deep connection to the self and the Divine.
